Golf

Yesterday we did golf with a man called Mr Golf. Mr Golf organised us into groups of three. In my group I had Georgia and Annelise. First we rolled a ball at the target. Then we tried with a club. At golf we learned how to hold a club, how to hit the ball and how to stand when you are hitting the ball.

Environment Writing

Yesterday we went and sat outside and drew as well as brainstorming words about the environment for 10 minutes. Then we had to write a poem, cameo or recount about the environment using the words we brainstormed. The theme was Autumn. Here is my poem:

ANZAC Day

We have been learning about he history of ANZAC day. ANZAC day is very important. ANZAC is all about coming together to respect the people who fought in the wars. We put together a presentation about ANZAC Day. I hope you enjoy it.

Metaphors

This week we have been learning how to write metaphors. Metaphors is kind of like similes except you can not use than, as and like or other wise they are not metaphors.
