Hello fellow bloggers,
For the last few days for maths, we have been about missing number equations. We did this task in our mixed ability groups. This an example of we were doing: 100 went into the box and 56 came out of the little box, what happened in the box? Today, we created a DLO for a missing number problem of our own. My favourite part was being able to choose our equation. The hardest part was that we had to use our own piece of paper to work out some of the problems when we were in our group. The learning behind this task was to learn about subtraction and missing number problems.
See if you can work my equation out:

Black Holes Inquiry
Hello everyone,
For the last couple of weeks, we have been learning about Planet Earth and Beyond. We had to choose a topic we wanted to learn about. After that, we had to write questions that we would answer. They had to be about the topic we chose. I chose black holes. I had multiple questions about black holes. They were... How do black holes form?, What happens when you get sucked into a black hole? and How big can a black hole be? I enjoyed learning about how black holes form and I liked researching and answering my wondering questions. The hardest part was finding the information because we didn't have internet for a few days. Instead, we used books to take notes about our topic. Here are two facts I learnt about black holes: You turn redder as you enter a black hole and a black hole can grow up to 50 billion suns! The learning behind this task was to find the answer to a wondering about Planet Earth and Beyond.
This is my presentation about black holes:

Leaf Writing
Hello Everyone,
Yesterday, Miss Fletcher came into our class to fill in for Mrs B. She took us outside to observe the changing of green leaves to red, orange, yellow and brown leaves. After looking at the leaves we walked back to class and started to write about what we saw. We were doing creative writing, so we got to choose what writing style we wanted. E.g Acrostic poem, poem, song or just a piece of writing. I chose to do a simple piece of writing. My favourite part was being able to choose what we type of writing style we got to write with. The learning behind this was to observe something and write about it to describe it.

Gif Making
Hello everyone,
Here is my GIF:
- For the last couple of weeks, we have been making GIFS with a lady called Deborah.
- First we had to make a slide showing something about cyber smart.
- Then, we had to use a site called Tall Tweets and insert our slide.
- After that, we coded how fast we wanted our GIF and how many pixels.
- After that, we clicked create GIF and our slide turned into a GIF.
- My favourite part was creating the slide.
- The hardest part was figuring out how to create it as a GIF.
- The learning behind this task was to know how to be cyber smart.

Myths
Kia ora,
For the last couple of weeks we have been writing myths. We had to explain why a natural phenomenon happens in the world. I chose rain. It was about a god who gets bullied so he cries which is rain. Then, a another god comes and saves him and the rain stops. My favourite part was making up my problem for my myth. The hardest part was finding a solution for my problem. The learning behind this was to learn how to write a myth and the structure of a myth.
