Handwriting Sample

Hello,
Today we did a handwriting sample.
What I think? I think I did a great job on my handwriting. But I think it would of been better if I didn't have a cramp in my thumb muscle.
What I think of my teachers thinks...? I think my teacher thinks I did a good job and that I had great consistency.
What I need to improve? I need to improve on my thumb getting used to handwriting so I don't rush and make my writing messy.
Here is my handwriting Sample:

My Grandparents

Kia ora,
For the last couple weeks, we have been creating items for Greats and Grands Day.  We wrote stories about memories with our grandparents. Our Greats and Grands day is on Friday this week. We have created booklets about some things we did with our grandparents. Our booklets contain a recipe for fudge, a moment in time, best dish our grandparents made and a description of one of our grandparents. My favourite part was writing about sticky date pudding. The hardest part was the moment in time because I could barely remember it.
Here is my presentation for my grandparents:

Heidi the Octopus

Hello everyone,
For the last week or two, we have been reading about an intelligent octopus named Heidi. We read an article about her. It was about her changing colour in her sleep. The colours she change to and from apparently meant that she was trying to catch a crab. Then, we had to complete reading tasks about Heidi.  My favourite part was making the venn diagram. The hardest things was writing the story about If I had an Octopus.  The learning behind this was to do creative writing and to find the main idea in the text.
Here they are:

Choose 3 vocab and find meaning and put in own words
Documentary
A documentary is a movie, television show that explains real
life events such as eras and life stories.
Planet Earth is a documentary which explores the natural
behaviour of animals.

Cephalopod
A cephalopod is a mollusc of the family known as the cephalopoda.
They have tentacles joined to the head.
I saw a cephalopod while I was in Rarotonga.

Recognise
Recognise means to identify something or someone that
they have seen previously seen or known.

Everyday day I come home, I always recognise my chicken, Leonna.

Once upon a time, I was on a school trip to Kelly Tarltons, when suddenly a pink fluffy octopus caught my eye. She seemed depressed, as if she didn’t want to be there. I told her to sneak out. She told me her name was Sandy. Soon, Sandy slithered slowly up the wet slimy glass. Slop! Her sticky suckers drop on my dry hands. She felt like a pile of disgusting slime. "Hey!, what are you doing" A firm voice yelled at me. "N...n...nothing." I replied nervously. "Good!" He answered. "What the?" I thought. Sandy had camouflaged! I gave her a slimy smooch on the head. "YUCK!" I yelled! She tasted like salt and chemicals!

Flick! Suddenly the lights. Flicked dark! I was lost! Sandy told me she knew the way! So I told her to show me to the exit and to freedom. We skipped down the hallway with joy! Sandy had a big smile on her big head. Finally, we reached the exit.

Splash! we dived into the cool, refreshing ocean like playful dolphins! I heard Sandy blowing big underwater bubbles of joy. Before I left Sandy, I asked her to clean my smelly toes the stunk for weeks. Soon, she vacuumed up the smell and dirt with her suckers. I hugged her slippery, fluffy body one last time before, I said, goodbye.
